In 306 AD it was stated that if one missed 3 weeks of church, that individual was to be subjected to church discipline. How far from that place God's church has fallen. The church is a holy entity that is being made holy by it's Savior. So we do we do when our visible churches don't fit this description for us? We stay, and forgive, and we don't despise what Christ loves.

Many believers do not understand the role of the Holy Spirit, but John 14 shows us that the Holy Spirit indwells us and that God Himself, in the person on the Holy Spirit, resides inside of us. When the Holy Spirit makes us alive, He comes to give us full life and brings with Him the conviction of Sin. It's a great blessing for us to be convicted of sin and made alive. The Holy Spirit points us to and offers to us the Word of God and then also illuminates our hearts through the Word of God to understand.

God's judgement is not a popular topic, but it is one that we as His church must address. Is judgement fair and just? How does that affect me? What about those people that don't know God's law? But most importantly, how does the judgement of Jesus Christ give me confidence in life and in death and for the second coming of Jesus Christ.

Grace and Peace

Pastor Andrew expresses thanksgiving for the church body in specific ways as it relates to the life of King's Chapel over the past week. He is grateful, like Paul for their love for the Gospel and the way that manifests itself in love for one another. He then prays, like Paul, that God's peace would fill them!

On the Third Day

The Resurrection of Christ. Everything hangs on this singular event in human history!

United in Love

Conceived and Born

The Birth of Jesus, a monumentally singular event. Pastor Andrew explores Christ's birth from Luke's gospel, chapter 1:26-38 and from Philippians 2:5-11.
