Ben came to know the Lord as a junior at Samford University in Birmingham, AL. Both Ben and Leah are graduates of Samford. Ben also has a Masters of Divinity from Birmingham Theological Seminary. Ben and Leah have been married for 2 years and have a baby daughter named Ellie. Ben works full time for Campus Outreach at the University of West Georgia, where he oversees CO staff and serves as the chaplain for the football team.
Eric and Tina Heine have been members at KCP for about 26 years. He came to know the Lord while attending college at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA. He has been married to Tina since 1983. They have four daughters, Amelia, Deanna, Valerie and Julianne as well as two son-in-laws, George Garcia and Caleb Purcell. Eric practices emergency medicine at Tanner Medical Center, and his hobbies include disc golf, “normal” golf, reading, tennis, and an occasional cigar.
David grew up in North Carolina between Asheville and Hickory. He was born into a Presbyterian family and felt God’s calling as a child. He met Brent in 1961 and they were married in 1962. After graduating from Lenoir-Rhyne University he went to work as a chemist in Charlotte. He did not take to being stuck in a lab. He made a huge leap from chemist to selling Girl Scout cookies for the ABC cookie company until retiring in 2005. He and Brent have 2 sons, 2 granddaughters, 2 grandsons, 2 great granddaughters and 2 great grandsons. David and Brent enjoy travel, volunteer work and of course being a part of King’s Chapel Presbyterian church.
Ed grew up as a Baptist pastor’s son in South Carolina, and came to know Jesus as a child. He’s a graduate of Florida State University, where he studied music education and composition. He was a high school band director for eleven years before founding EHF (Enjoy Him Forever) Productions – a music production company. Ed arranges, orchestrates, produces recordings, and does editorial work for various church music publishers. He serves as a workshop clinician, teaches a bible study in Bremen, and is involved in the worship ministry at KCP. He met Carol in 1985 when they were both hired to teach music at Bremen High School. They have two daughters; Katie, who lives in Orlando with her husband, Joel Pollard and their two children, and Caroline, who is a student at the University of West Georgia. Ed enjoys Jeopardy!, the Braves, old movies, Seminole football, and hanging out on the back porch with friends.
Jeff grew up in Rhode Island and graduated from University of Rhode Island. While in college, Jeff came to trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior through a visit from the Navigators ministry on campus. While at school, Jeff met his wife Carol. They married after graduation and started their life journey in the Navy, Delta Air Lines, and now have found community in Carrollton. Jeff and Carol have 6 children and some really sweet grandchildren. Jeff likes woodworking, gardening, grilling, discipleship and worshipping at KCP.
